Everything Old Is New Again (EONA™) is a modular table system manufactured from post-recycled materials. Its outstanding environmental credentials, combined with its sleek and timeless design, makes EONA™ ideal for conference and boardroom tables.

EONA™ uses 100% post-consumer recycled aluminium for legs and leg support inserts, post-consumer recycled steel for outer leg supports, rails and adjustable glides (steel material is generally produced with a minimum of 10% post-consumer content, however our suppliers state that for EONA™ this figure is closer to 40%), and recyclable polypropylene

I.AM™ has been designed to be environmentally friendly and with responsibility for recycling in mind. It is manufactured using recyclable materials including steel, aluminium and polypropylene, and is easily disassembled for the recycling process.

TRAPEZE™ legs and leg support inserts are manufactured from 100% recycled aluminium content and uses minimal components for easy disassembly and recycling.

WARRIOR™ is a lightweight and durable award winning stool manufactured from a single material – expanded polypropylene (EPP). EPP is a lightweight polymer that is completely odourless, hypoallergenic, emission-free and 100% recyclable. At the end of its useful life WARRIOR™ can be returned to Thinking Ergonomix for recycling at no   charge.

U.R™ has been designed with the environment in mind.  Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) were commissioned to determine the most appropriate materials to achieve the desired finishes.  Components produced from materials such as die cast aluminium have been designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure the strongest structure whilst eliminating excess material.  U.R™ has been designed for 100% disassembly, ready for recycling.

All Atdec products are designed in order to minimise their impact on the environment. Design for Disassembly (DFD) means making products that can be taken apart easily for recycling at the end of their life:

  • Components which are of adequate quality can be refurbished or reused.
  • Metallic parts can be separated easily into categories which increases their recycling value.
  • Disassembled plastic parts can be easily removed and recycled, or disposed

Atdec makes full use of recyclable and recycled materials where possible. Aluminium, steel and magnesium alloys are the materials of preference for all Atdec products because of their inherent recycling properties in addition to their performance properties.

Aluminium in particular has a high value as a scrap metal and as such, is one of the primary metals in all Atdec products. The steel used in our products is a relatively easy to separate through magnetic extraction, and it is the world’s most commonly recycled material.

For our packaging we use recyclable paper made of recycled materials wherever possible.
